Texts of Hinduism and Buddhism

Goal: Use Hindu and Buddhist texts to describe the beliefs and practices of Hinduism and Buddhism.
1. Read the selection from the Baghavad Gita and the selection from the Buddha's Deer Park Sermon.   Answer questions 1,3,5,6.
2. Read pages 282-285 and summarize the 4 most important facts about Hinduism and Buddhism.
3. Bring your book next lesson.

Test Preparation

1. Complete the maps packet.  Study the 5 Pillars of Islam and all notes.
2. Complete the test study guide:  Define and state the importance of 15 items from the study guide, all bullet points, and three of the short answer questions.
3. Notebook check next Friday, November 7th.  Three ring binder, all items in chronological (date) order, one divider between Americas unit and Mediterranean Unit.  You can make your own divider.
